Engr. Soliman showcased Hytec’s background and capabilities as one of the country’s pioneers in providing total solutions for both industrial and academic sectors. He emphasized the company’s commitment to bridging the gap between classroom instruction and industry needs through advanced technologies, modern training systems, and laboratory setups tailored for TVET institutions.

The dialogue then focused on integrating TVET into the Philippine Secondary Education curriculum through advanced technology, modern learning labs, and hands-on training from Grades 7 to 12. Director Bungallon and Engr. Soliman acknowledged that the Philippines still trails behind countries like Korea, India, and Singapore in aligning education with industry needs. However, the nation’s strong performance in the recent WorldSkills competition underscored the potential of Filipino youth to excel globally when equipped with quality training and support.

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing interest in pursuing further discussions to explore potential areas of collaboration that could support the modernization of the Philippine TVET landscape. It was agreed that future meetings may include other relevant agencies to provide broader perspectives and strengthen the coordination of possible initiatives.
