The session was presided by the Board Chairperson, H.E. Norman Bin Muhamad of the Embassy of Malaysia. It commenced with the review of CPSC’s performance during the Fiscal Year 2020-2021. The Board commended CPSC’s efforts and achievements, especially in delivering effective and relevant training programs despite the challenges bought by the travel and mobility restrictions caused by the ongoing pandemic.

The recommendations of the Standing Committee during its meeting on May 5, 2021 were tackled next by the Board. Items such as CPSC’s Yearly Plan of Operations and Operational Budget for 2021-2022, revisions on the CPSC Staff Norms and Manual of Financial Rules and Procedures, and updates on the ongoing recruitment of the CPSC Governing Board-Engaged Faculty were discussed by the Standing Committee beforehand in order to assist the Board in deliberating, and provide guidance in their decisions. Led by the Standing Committee Chairperson H.E. U Lwin Oo of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, salient points and recommendations were presented and received positively by the Board.
