The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) was recently recognized by the ITE Education Service (ITEES), Singapore during its 20th anniversary celebration held at the Changi Ballroom, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, Singapore on October 20, 2023. The Staff College was represented by its Director General, Prof. G.L.D. Wickramasinghe who received a plaque of recognition from ITEES Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Bruce Poh and Chairman of ITE Education Services, Mr. Heng Chiang Gnee.
ITEES is a subsidiary of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore which is mandated to share ITE’s experience in TVET with the international community. Since its birth, it has pooled together a spectrum of activities, programs, and linkages with various international organizations, government agencies, and TVET institutions in raising the quality of skills education and vocational training.
As a recognized partner in TVET, CPSC has engaged ITEES by conducting Regional Programs in Singapore, including the recently held leadership training program on Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0) for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Leaders: Technologies, Threats and Opportunities held in Singapore from October 9 to 13, 2023.
CPSC expresses its sincerest gratitude to ITEES for this invaluable recognition and assures the organization of its continued support through the continuous implementation of quality training programs that would help improve teaching and learning pedagogies of TVET trainers and practitioners across its member countries, including Singapore.
