The President of the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) Dr. Ramhari Lamichhane was invited by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) based in Japan to discuss how accreditation and certification programs would increase the number of certified productivity professionals in APO member countries. The webinar was broadcasted live via YouTube on December 10, 2020 and was facilitated by Mr. Md. Zainuri Juri of APO Program Directorate.

Dr. Lamichhane shared with viewers from all over the world the information about APACC – the reasons or issues for creating the commission, its inception, characteristics, benefits from being APACC accredited, evaluation process, and status report. He also shared the best practices of outstanding APACC-accredited institutions with regard to competitiveness and productivity. He concluded that accreditation ensures the quality management system of institutions or organizations and that it keeps leadership and team committed to achieve institutional goals.
