TVET sector prepares youth for specific trades, crafts and careers at different levels from a trade, a craft, technician, or a professional position in tourism, agriculture etc. The majority of vocations are typically based on manual or practical actions, traditionally non-academic, related to a specific trade, occupation, or, vacation.

Internet based learning or e-learning in TVET has become current trend and requirement of future needs of industry due to disruption of industrial revolution 4.0. Specifically, e-learning is the term broadly used to describe "instructional content or learning experience delivered or enabled by electronic technologies". With e-learning, the TVET instructors will be able to reach learners in different set-ups using the available diverse ICT resource to meet the learners’ needs.

A two week training program is proposed to provide the foundation for instructional development through the use of ICT and expected to cover the methodology, skills, and techniques necessary for developing effective e-Learning solutions.
