In the spirit of helping people in need, through its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Colombo Plan Staff College provided donations to the victims of typhoon Pablo (international name: Bopha) in Mindanao, south of Philippines last December 13, 2012.

Through the facilitation of ISDANCO Foundation, a non – profit organization established to “teach other people to help themselves” through alternative learning and values formation, the Staff College donated necessary items such as clothes, shoes, food, and bottled water.

Typhoon Pablo, which hit the Philippines on the first week of December 2012, was the strongest tropical cyclone to ever hit Mindanao, Philippines. It caused widespread destruction; with more than 1,000 fatalities and left thousands homeless.
