CPSC Director General Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub, met officials from key ministries, TVET institutions and accreditation agency in Mongolia from September 20 to 24, 2012.

Dr. Naim met Gantsetseg Baasanjav, State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor; Undarmaa Batbayar, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science; and B. Alzakhgui from the National Council for Education and Accreditation. During the visit the Director General reported CPSC’s activities and projects particularly highlighting CPSC programs and accreditation activities organized for Mongolia, as well as both parties’ collaborative efforts in the advancement of TVET systems in general. He conveyed his high appreciation to the officials for continually demonstrating solid support to CPSC’s undertakings and expressed hope for mutual and intensified cooperation.

The Director General also met with various College Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors and Deans namely Lkhagvasuren Tserenkhuu, D. Amarsaikhan, Tserendagva Dalkh, Ganbat Baramsai, Emeeljigjid Namsrai, Chimiddorj Baasanchoimbol, and B. Baramsai as well as with some Specialists of the Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-M) where he discussed strategies for establishing partnerships and carrying out joint projects.

Dr. Naim also visited and toured three colleges i.e. the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET), Polytechnic College and School of Health Technology. The visit was also in line with the In-Country Program on Total Quality Management (TQM) organized from September 17 to 21, 2012 in Mongolia. He officially concluded the program during its closing ceremony at IET where he expressed his sincere appreciation for the very well-organized program and warm reception that affirmed and demonstrated intensified support and cooperation of Mongolia to CPSC.
