To further strengthen its cooperation and linkages with similar regional organizations in Asia, Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub, Director General, CPSC paid a visit to Dr. Gwang-Jo Kim, Director of UNESCO Bangkok Office on March 15, 2012 at the latter's office in Bangkok. Also present was Dr. Youngsup Choi, UNESCO Bangkok expert on Technical and Vocational Education and Training. In the brief meeting, they discussed about the upcoming World TVET Congress in Shanghai, China in May 2012. Dr. Naim also explored the possibility of conducting a joint research between the two organizations.

Dr. Naim also touched base with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witaya Jeradechakul, Director of SEAMEO Secretariat and Dr. Tinsiri Siribodhi, Deputy Director for Administration and Communication. They exchanged notes on each other's organizational concerns, in particular the common areas of work pursued by CPSC and SEAMEO-VOCTECH, a SEAMEO sub-regional center hosted in Brunei Darussalam. Both explored pursuing possible joint programs and regional research.
