The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) welcomed officials from the Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi), Singapore during their courtesy visit to the College on August 3, 2023. Among the attendees were Dr. Henry Heng, Chief Executive Officer; Ms. Esther Bay, Director; and Ms. Judy Emily, Senior Manager. The delegation was welcomed by CPSC Director General Prof. G.L.D. Wickramasinghe; CPSC Governing Board-Engaged Faculty Consultant, Dr. Kesavan Ulaganathen; CPSC Senior Faculty Specialist, Engr. Dr. Mian Khuram Ahsan; and Executive Secretary, Mrs. Adrienne Nonan.

The delegation visited CPSC to learn more about the programs, trainings, and activities of the College when it comes to the promotion and development of TVET in the region and in Singapore. Moreover, both parties exchanged institutional information during the meeting.
The NYPi is the international arm of the Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), an institution of higher learning in Singapore that offers quality education and training through 40 full-time diploma courses and common entry programmes. NYPi aims to enhance the global presence of NYP, with the view to strengthen international partnerships, and create more learning opportunities for the students and staff of NYP.

The meeting hoped for the possibility of implementing collaborative programs in the future including the possibility of doing an institutional visit at Nanyang Polytechnic International as part of the upcoming regional program and study visits in Singapore, and NYPi showcasing their innovations during CPSC events with focus on sustainability and development.
