The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) Director General, Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja, conducted a series of courtesy visits to key officials of the Government of India to reinforce institutional partnerships, present CPSC’s recent accomplishments, and inform them on upcoming projects and activities of the Staff College.

On August 20, 2025, Prof. Dr. Dhameja met with the senior representatives of the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Education in New Delhi, India. Their discussions provided an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration with the Government of India and explore potential joint initiatives.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Dhameja visited Govt Polytechnic College, Panchkula in Haryana state, India on August 21, 2025 and met the Principal Engr. Ranbir Sangwan and Vice-Principal Arch. (Mrs) Eesha Mehta. Dr Dhameja also visited Maha Rishi Ashtavakra Kendra Govt Polytechnic College, Panchkula and met the Principal Engr. Daljit Singh who also holds additional charge of Principal, Govt Polytechnic college, Morni, Haryana. During the visit, he encouraged the polytechnics to pursue accreditation through the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) as a means of strengthening quality assurance in TVET. The polytechnic responded positively and expressed strong interest in enhancing educational standards and achieving wider regional recognition.

Through these visits, CPSC reaffirmed its strong ties with the Government of India and encouraged greater collaboration to promote quality and excellence in TVET across the region.
