The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) successfully convened the members and representatives of the CPSC Governing Board on June 27, 2023 in CPSC Manila, Philippines for the 115th Governing Board Meeting of the Staff College. The Heads of Missions and country representatives of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand have attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Board Members and Representatives were able to discuss the following agenda items: (a) adoption of the Minutes of the 114th Governing Board Meeting conducted February 23, 2023; (b) actions taken based on the Board decisions and matters arising from the previous meeting; (c) presentation of CPSC’s accomplishment report for FY 2022-2023; (d) reports of the Standing Committee Meeting conducted on May 17, 2023; and (e) fiscal management of CPSC concerning the operational budget for the next fiscal year.

In addition, the Board was also able to discuss the tentative line-up of programs, activities, and projects of CPSC for the upcoming FY 2023-2024 including plans for the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Staff College. The Board was also able to review the results of the Midterm Review for APACC Strategic Plan 2020-2025 which was conducted online on February 2, 2023. Lastly, a simple ceremonial turnover was conducted for the CPSC Governing Board Chairpersonship and Vice-Chairpersonship as well as the CPSC Standing Committee
