Prof. G.L.D. Wickramasinghe, CPSC’s Director General together with the Executive Secretary Mr. Jan Michael Marasigan paid a visit to the newly-appointed Director General of the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Atty. Danilo P. Cruz at the TESDA Central Office in Taguig City on September 1, 2022.

The visit was organized as a courtesy of CPSC to the head of the Philippine TVET authority and a new member of the CPSC Governing Board. It was also an opportunity for Prof. Wickramasinghe to inform Atty. Cruz about the present state of TESDA-CPSC relations.

On behalf of CPSC and other members of the Governing Board, Prof.Wickramasinghe expressed his appreciation to the Government of the Philippines through TESDA for their continued support to CPSC. He was also able to discuss TESDA’s participation in CPSC programs as well as his future plans for the member countries, particularly the Philippines.

Atty. Cruz, meanwhile, expressed his commitment to further support CPSC’s activities in the Philippines and to continue exploring avenues for program collaboration, particularly on the organization of joint training programs and institutional accreditation through APACC.
