On their 5th edition, Terrapinn brings the education community together once again as they organize EduTECH Philippines 2021. Held from March 24-25, 2021, the event gathered top leaders from across the country and the world to share their ideas, functional strategies, and best practices on technology leadership and remote learning.

CPSC Director General Dr. Ramhari Lamichhane joins fellow educators from premiere educational institutions in the Philippines such as University of the East, Lyceum of the Philippines University, and National Teachers College in a townhall Meeting with the theme “Strategies for Planning an Effective Online Learning Experience”. During the session, the panelists shared their approaches on preparing and implementing online learning in their institutions, the challenges they face especially in the context of limitations in the infrastructure in their localities and the impact of COVID-19 in terms of mobility, and their strategies in overcoming these hurdles.

Dr. Lamichhane pointed out that in order for online learning to succeed, educators need to be equipped with the relevant and updated skills and knowledge in the technology that is being used in the delivery. He also emphasized that learning should stop in the classroom, be it online or physical; it can go beyond that, especially in their communities where they can obtain life skills and firsthand knowledge that complements the theoretical information they get from classroom set-up.
