Marking third CPSC program in Afghanistan, CPSC teams up with the National Skills Development Program, Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and Deutsche Gessellschaft für Internatiole Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Gmbh, Germany in organizing the In-Country Program on Academia-Industry Linkage in TVET in Kabul, Afghanistan being held from 2-6 July 2012.
The program seeks to provide ministry officials, policy makers and administrators from TVET system, representatives of industries and other relevant organizations of Afghanistan comprising participants of the program with emerging information and current trends on the various aspects of academia-industry linkages. Specific topics on the subject matter include Academia-Industry Linkages in the Perspective of Dynamic Workplace; Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in TVET for Achieving Enhanced Relevance of Skills; Academia-Industry Linkage: Industry Perspective and Innovative Models and Approaches to Academia-Industry Linkage in the Modern World.
Program Organizers composed of Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub, CPSC Director General, Dr. Enayatullah Mayel, National Program Director, MoLSAMD, who both act as Program Supervisors, Dr. Hazrat Hussain, CPSC Faculty Consultant and Mr. Mohammad Asif Stanikzai, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, MoLSAMD, Program Coordinator/Resource Person and Local Coordinator, respectively, ensure smooth implementation of the program.
