CPSC Governing Board convenes 88th session

The 88th session of the Governing Board was convened last January 21, 2010, 10:00 A.M. The meeting was presided by Governing Board Chairman HE CHOI, Joong-Kyung, Ambassador of Korea to the Philippines and was attended by members and representatives from Bangladesh, India, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines – Department of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Thailand. The attending members represent CPSC member countries with diplomatic missions in the Philippines.

Representative from external auditor, KPMG Manabat and San Agustin was also invited to present the report of audit on CPSC’s Financial Statements for FY 2008-2009.

The meeting deliberated upon significant agenda and concluded with the adoption, among others, of the CPSC Governing Board Biennial Report to the 42nd Consultative Committee Meeting (CCM), the CPSC Mid-Year Report covering the period July to December 2009, Report of Audit on CPSC Financial Statements for FY 2008-2009.

The Board decided to hold the 89th session on June 24, 2010 in Manila, Philippines. The Board meets twice a year or as often as may be necessary.
