Three officials from the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Regional Center for Educational Innovation and Technology (SEAMEO INNOTECH) composed of Ms. Jocelyn Ilagan and Ms. Victoria Laguda, Senior Associates of the Knowledge Management and Networking Office and Mr. Thanchit Padungsapalai, Professional Intern from the Ministry of Education, Thailand visited the Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) on June 15, 2017 to know more about CPSC's mandate and programs. They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel, CPSC Faculty Consultant and Division Chair of the Projects and Consultancy Division (PCD); Ms. Adrienne Abril, PCD Officer; and Ms. Felice Jeanine Marquez, PCD Staff.
SEAMEO INNOTECH is one of three SEAMEO regional centers being hosted by the Government of the Philippines. The center identifies the needs of member countries in Southeast Asia to be able to develop technology-based and innovative solutions through research, human resource development, and other special programs.
A short exchange of institutional information was held including discussion on recent CPSC customized, regional and in-country programs and the activities of the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC). Potential collaboration in future programs were also explored and hoped by representatives of both organizations.
