PAITE Visits CPSC, Explores Possible Partnership

Two officers from the Philippine Association of Industrial and Technology Educators (PAITE), Inc. composed of President Dr. Olympio Caparas and Acting Executive Secretary Dr. Ricardo De Lumen paid a courtesy visit to Colombo Plan Staff College on September 11, 2015 to seek assistance and explore possible collaboration in their upcoming program.

CPSC Officer-in-Charge Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel and CPSC Short-Term Faculty Consultant Dr. Romulita Alto welcomed the guests and shared about CPSC's latest programs and accomplishments. Dr. Caparas, who was a former President of Technological University, introduced PAITE and disclosed the holding of its 6th National Congress with the theme, "Benchmarking in Industrial Technology Education: The International Perspectives." Recognizing CPSC as one of the lead intergovernmental organization in TVET and the Staff College's rich pool of international TVET experts, Dr. Caparas showed interest to have the collaborative congress with CPSC and sought assistance from CPSC in identifying and getting possible TVET experts from different countries as resource persons for the PAITE's upcoming national congress.

Prof. Dr. GK extended his appreciation to PAITE for considering CPSC as one of its partners and agreed to provide any assistance in the association’s annual undertaking.
