CPSC Promotes APACC in Sarawak Skills Development Center and International College of Advanced Technology, Sarawak

CPSC Officer-in-Charge and APACC Acting President, Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel visited the campuses of Sarawak Skills Development Center(Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak) and International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS) in Malaysia to provide further information about the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) and to discuss possible collaborative programs with CPSC. He met the Yang Berbahagia Encik Hallman bin Haji Sabri, Executive director of Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS) and shared the benefits of APACC. During his visit, he encouraged the official to apply for the APACC accreditation to further strengthen and improve their capacity to provide good quality education.

Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel also had a discussion on APACC with International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS) Management team and all Heads of Schools. The team led by Encik Mohamad Isham bin Fauzi, Chief Executive Officer of i-CATS interacted very well and members asked many queries on APACC which was clarified by him. They were also encouraged to apply for the APACC accreditation to further strengthen and improve their capacity to provide good quality education. The visit ended with a positive note and the two institutions have expressed their interest to apply for the APACC accreditation soon.
