a. Governing Board-engaged Faculty
Governing Board-engaged Faculty Consultants are specialists who carry out the programs of CPSC through teaching, research or such other duties as may be assigned by the Director General. They are recruited from the CPSC member countries by the Governing Board. Only one GB Faculty per member country shall be appointed by the Board at a given time. All expenses related to the appointment of a Governing Board-engaged faculty are borne under the operating budget of CPSC.
b. Seconded Faculty Consultant
The Seconded Faculty Members are academic professionals who are seconded by participating Governments or other agencies and similarly functions to carry out the academic programs of CPSC. Financial arrangements (salaries, allowance, compensation, and so on) are made between the concerned agencies of the seconding government and the seconded faculty himself.
Specialists are academic professionals who carry out the programs of CPSC through teaching, research or such other duties as may be assigned by the Director General. They are appointed by the Director-General through the Academic Board. Initial period of appointment of specialists is for one year renewable on satisfactory performance. The tenure of service is fixed for a maximum period of two years and shall not be eligible for re-appointment after completion of the said contract. Monthly remuneration and other travel expenses and benefits, as per the Terms and Conditions of Service for Specialists, are borne by CPSC under its operating budget.
